You really can't go wrong with any of these, can you?

Not a fan of the blue tips, though... makes me think of the 350Z forums I used to frequent.

Are you talking about these pipes: http://www.eagleday.com/bmwm3e92x2nc...d=18283950120?

I do like the keeping the car look and feel as stock as possible, so I'm with you on option 1. Also, 'howdy' from a fellow Houstonian.

Anyone (or the next few to read) recommend AFE vs. REMUS? Any brand preferrable over the other? Any droning? Any suggestions or comments in general would help. Thanks in advance.

So from reading everything, I am guessing Akra gives the most gains? Or is it MRF? I hear they have stop producing their stuff.

DLSJ5 makes over 700whp with his VT3 supercharged setup equipped with a Macht Schnell X-Pipe and OEM muffler.

ESS VT3 Supercharged - Update after almost 2 years and 15K miles...

It made really good power, FWIW is was ~711whp, the MS X pipe also sounded nice paired with the OEM muffler.

usually the x-pipe paired with all other bolt on's and a tune will get you 4-5hp !!!

the most power comes from the catless pipes + tune (30-40hp)

Just installed M Performance Exhaust but it's little too quite...
Does anyone know if changing X pipe makes a huge difference?

I am debating to either sell the exhaust and get a different one or install X pipe.

Catless X-pipe should open it up some.

I'd like to keep this as useful as possible. Suggestions, corrections, comments are all helpful.

This is an excellent consolidated offering. Can someone please point me in the right direction here. I have a 2011 M3 with Competition package ( minus performance exhaust ).

I want to add better sound, torque and HP. I was going to add a Sosi X pipe and delete the secondary cats. To provide more torque and HP. Additionally, I was going to add intake to increase / support torque and HP.

Is this the best bang for my dollar? Will I have any type of smell from adding X pipe and deleting secondary cats?

Suggestions?

Best bang for your buck would probably be test pipes and a tune. You really need to reduce the restriction in the primary cats to free up the extra power and it should give you a bit more volume to the exhaust note, but I'm not sure on that.
