Eisenmann 4x83mm Lemans Exhaust for Sedan Vs. Coupe

We just received and delivered the first set of E90 (Sedan) Eisenmann 4x83mm Race/Sport systems. Tips are a little shorter on the sedan exhausts.

The Sedan guys can still order the long tips for that extended look.... and some have, actually. Here are some pictures for comparion.

Unit to the left is Sedan Exhaust and to the right is the Coupe exhaust

Don't all of the Eisenmann units for the e9x M3 have the Le Mans tips?

I thought you had an AE exhaust mantis Our E92 tips might be longer but the E90 guys can run more aggressive wheels.

so im not allowed to switch exhausts
yah i do... altho i want a louuuud one.... would be nice if Eisenmann can just be bolted on, i'd keep both and switch lol

edit: why do E90 M3's run more aggressive offsets? i thought it's the same for M3's. different for non-M's. in any case, it's not like there are wheels out there aggressive enough. everyone's rocking spacers anyway

Were going to be releasing 3" connecting pipes for the Eisenmann exhaust soon

Like how soon? Cuz if it is in the near future I would rather use that then having to cut my muffler off...

alright I have narrowed down to wanting the Eisenmann exhaust, but for the life of me I cannot decide between the sport or race. Is the race obnoxiously loud, i.e. even if I'm just cruising to some place will i be getting bellowed by a loud exhaust? My friend had an exhaust like that on his car and at 1st it was cool but after awhile it became annoying, obviously I don't want this to happen.

We get this very same question all the time. Eisenmann designed both the Sport and Race performance to retain the class of the car. The Race performance is a little aggressive during cold start. The Race performance is not obnoxiously loud but it sure screams at WOT

Greg's review of the Sport performance sound

I must say, this Eisenmann exhaust has changed that--it's what should have come from the factory! The sound level and tone is PERFECT, IMO. It's deeper and throatier, but not at all obnoxious or droning. Unfortunately it may impact my fuel mileage, since I now like to hear the car rev more; but, even at lower revs it sounds great!

I have the Dinan cat back exhaust on my 540i and it pales in comparison to the visceral sound that now comes from my M3. The tips are a beautiful stainless and are larger in diameter than stock. They fill up the space perfectly. The service from Nate was spectacular. If you're looking for a great easy mod to your M don't hesitate call Nate!

I am waiting for this system to arrive from CA Automotive! You should make people aware of how long it actually does take. Since I ordered, it has been close to 5 weeks now, if not more.

EDIT: I was told the LeMans tips are considered "special order," which is why the order time is longer.

Really? 5 weeks? Something doesn't sound right. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago from today and it was delivered today (and installed).

Really? All of our E90 M3 orders have been shipped...

Edit

I just double checked and we have no sedan orders going to New Jersey.
