Fame Freiheit 美響 Exhaust for E92 M3

I have been looking for an ideal exhaust for my M3. My criteria for picking the exhaust are:

1. little to no drone in cabin during cruise

2. aggressive sound but not obnoxiously loud

3. better if hidden under rear bumper

I have listened to many different sound clips on You Tube and finally came to the conclusion that the Fame Freiheit 美響 muffler most fit my needs. Here's a link to the exhaust:

http://www.fame-web.com/shopping/90/mu/MUFH00290.html

Here are the sound clips from You Tube:

[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cKUwGd3dQkI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cKUwGd3dQkI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yAwrvZqiKBw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yAwrvZqiKBw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

I finally pulled the trigger earlier this week and ordered one from Japan. It has arrived at my contact in Japan and is being repackaged for EMS shipment to the US. So, I should get it some time next week. Since I still have about 700 more miles to go for break in, I'm going to put it in storage until after the M service.

I'll keep updating this thread and post preview pictures of the real unit when I get it.

Looks like a nice, rational design.

I like it, in a way, I wish this one would have came out sooner. Good price too. Do they offer a full system(headers back?)

Freiheit is a great exhaist and is made by tanabe so you know you are getting a great product. Did you get the titanium or stainless version? axleback?

We will definitely weigh it and see how much weight savings we achieved with the new system.

Of course, they don't have any presence in the US / Canadian market. The company, Fame, is a Euro tuning company, like STUDIE, in Osaka, Japan. The exhaust is a collaboration between Fame and Tanabe, which is a well known aftermarket tuning company in the JDM scene. They make a lot of suspension parts like coilovers, sway bars, strut bars, springs; SSR wheels; as well as exhausts.

Looks like a nice product, especially if it is by Tanabe, they are a great company, I still have a Tanabe downpipe on my TT Supra, it is a very quality part.

This is just section 3, no x-pipe, front pipe, or headers.
