My M3's always been a garage queen, I couldn't really afford to daily it, hence having a 330d too. Also, I tend to not to drive at all from Monday to Thursday night .It's weird how the clunk doesn't always happen though, I only drove it just the week before!

I believe this would do the trick. I consider this an oil issue and building the pressure by cranking would most likely reaolve this.
