Hey everyone! Just picked up my "new" 2010 M3 last weekend. I had an E46 M3 back in 06' and an E92 335i after that. Then I switched to an Audi S4 in 2013. My lease is ending on my 2017 TTS and though I planned to buy it out, I decided to buy my Mom's M3 that she bought new which has only 31k miles. Always loved driving it and I actually put 12k of the miles on it from 2010-2012.
Little bit of an adjustment losing parking assistance and blind spot warning but the fun to drive factor definitely beats the TTS. I have a lot of plans for it starting from completely stock. As soon as I got home I installed the lux angel eyes, IND black kidney grills and side grills. Will be doing a bank braking detail inside and out on the 25th with full frontal clear bra and ceramic pro being added. Lots of fun custom carbon for the interior is on the way as well as many other things. I look forward to being part of the BMW community again. Will be keeping this thread updated along the way. |

That's pretty cool that your mom has an M3. Wish my parents were like that. Clean M3 by the way.

I've never seen the silver stripe down the side like that. Is that something she had done?
And for the love of god get those bugs off the front bumper! Welcome back to the community though, such a fun car.

Definitely a blast to drive. That's the BMW Performance stripe. I've never seen another M3 with them but I also had them on my old 335i. I'll be removing them since I'm blacking out everything and don't want it trapped on there under clear bra.

Did the LCI tail lights today. Pretty easy to install and code with Carly. Makes such a huge difference and makes the car more modern looking.

Pedal Haus set really makes a big improvement. M cars should really have aluminum pedals stock.

Got it back from a week at the detailer. Did quite a bit:
-IND BMW emblems and M3 emblem -IND painted reflectors -Macht Schnell 15/12 spacers -Blue painted calipers -AZA Auto Steering Wheel -Pedal Haus shift paddles -IND blue M button -Stage 2 paint correction -Stage 2 interior detail -Ceramic Pro interior package -Full frontal xpel ppf -Ceramic Pro Gold Package -Ceramic tint : 70% windshield and 35% sides and back Also removed the stripes. BMW Performance Carbon spoiler was going to be added but there was a flaw in the fit so it'll have to be replaced. Love the results so far though. |

Had the wheels powder coated gloss black metallic which looks great. Installed Alpine stage 1 engine tune with GTS trans tune, Macht Schnell intake, and Remus Race Exhaust. Goes like hell and sounds fantastic!
