Drones around 2k, after 3k it clears up. Nothing ear shattering - the resonators cut it pretty well. That being said it's definitely a set up more suited for a weekend car than a daily. If I were daily-ing I would probably spend the money on a Corsa. But for my weekend tears this is freakin perfect. Cold start delete was also essential.

Love the Grupper page! Was exactly what I was looking for after buying this car. The Tampa Bimmer Club is a bit sad and full of the wrong kind of BMW people unfortunately. Wish there was a bigger Grupper presence here in Tampa.

Celebrated one year of ownership yesterday with an excellent morning drive followed by a deep clean and ceramic/wax coating. This car has been absolutely without fault over the past 12 months. Have managed to tick 6,000 miles during my ownership thus far.

Got my GTS rep front lip from 360carbon this week and began install.
![]() Mock up ![]() Did some cleaning while I had the front bumper off ![]() ![]() I thought I was home free at this point - got the holes drilled, bolts installed, ready to go. Unfortunately, after fully installing the front bumper I began to peel back the red 3M covering and both tails I left got caught and ripped..so I had to remove the bumper, pop off a couple of bolts and start peeling the 3M back again. PITA! After some frustration I got all of the tape peeled and adhered with everything put back together. Currently have it pressed up against some blocks while it bonds over night. Will put the wheels back on tomorrow and clean everything up. Got it to fit perfectly - but I'm going to wait to claim that until I see how it all settles. ![]() After taking a break to watch the Bucs game - still surreal that Tom Brady is our quarterback. Will get some pictures in better lighting tomorrow once everything is back together. Really loving the look so far. ![]()

Got the GTS lip all squared away and out in the light for a good look at it. Extremely happy with the way it turned out. Really pulls together the look of the car - plays off of the black accents and the rear lid spoiler and is a perfect OEM+ addition to an OEM+ car. Really happy with the exterior now, don't think I'll change a thing! Clearance isn't bad at all either (about 4"+ left) - can get in and out of my steep driveway with no issues and can take regular speed bumps straight on (slowly) - this helps keep me away from lowering springs as well as any less clearance would be an issue.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fitment was 9/10 - have a couple very small gaps at the lower ends as I believe you did as well? Nothing I'm too worried with as you have to be eye level with the lip to notice. More concerned with those damn front plate holes!! Thanks for nothing Virginia..

Had a kick ass track day at the FIRM (Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park) up near Gainesville, FL over the weekend. Much different vibe than Sebring - Sebring has a more professional, big time feel to it where as the FIRM was just pure fun. You can really huck the car around here as there is only one wall to worry about and ample run off otherwise. Had some real fun exploring the limits. As expected the car ran like a damn champ yet again - no issues to speak of whatsoever outside of some worn out tires and brakes. Here are two of my better laps:
Any input on how to tell if my rotors are shot? I've got two track days on them and about 49k miles (assuming they're original) - performing fine but showing some wear - will have to check the size of the lip around the outer edge.

Before a track day two years ago, I was at about 28.6-28.7 on my fronts and I went ahead and swapped them for new Zimmerman rotors. It was worth it as I was able to beat on them for a full day and they had a lot of meat left after. Fluid got a little tired by the end of the day and pedal got a bit softer, but the rotors and pads held up nicely.
