25mm adjustable coilovers (at least, I think they're coilovers) by SACHS.

Do you need that brace piece for the rear coils?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Damn, 10k+ just for coil overs.....damn. I thought the GTS had an edc system, no? If so, the EDC system on a non-GTS //M3 would need to be reprogrammed to use these.

The only other thing is the top mount (Turner sells them) and proper structural support (i.e. brace, roll cage). Though quite a few people with E46 M3 have done a rear coilover conversion w/o any additional structural support, and I haven't heard of any problems.

The GTS doesn't have EDC.

So you are sure there are no other components to replace or modify to fit this rear coilover kit? If not, that is very cool ... cause it took alot more to convert the e36 and e46 rear to accept a true coilover. |

how effective would this suspension be on a standard E92 M3 coupe? Does the fact that the gt4 weighs a few hundred pounds less make this less than ideal for the heftier standard coupe?

With the price and available spring rate, this should only be used for serious racers. The GT4 is a few hundred pounds lighter, but you can easily choose stiffer springs based on your needs. The GT4 shocks are adjustable and should work with any reasonable amount of spring rates for the M3.
