Finally finished modding Heidi. BMW and M Performance content inside

O hi,

I recently added the finishing touches to my car, who as some of you already know, goes by the name of Heidi. I'm pretty sure I'm done with modding, but really, is one ever truly done with modding? At any rate, here's a list of everything that I've done to the car, followed by the requisite pics and a handful of videos. I've tried to keep the car as subtle as possible by limiting the mods to factory parts. I hope you enjoy:

List of upgrades:
  • M Performance exhaust, thermal coated in black
  • ZCP suspension retrofit
  • LCI European taillights, with amber blinkers
  • Style 359M wheels, with 275/35r and 255/35f PS2s
  • BMW Performance Mk. II carbon fiber spoiler
  • BMW Performance carbon fiber mirror covers
  • BMW Performance front grilles
  • BMW Performance side gills
  • BMW Performance intake louvers
  • BMW Performance trunk emblem
  • BMW factory alarm retrofit
  • Space Gray bumper plugs

BMW Performance carbon fiber mirror cap

BMW Performance carbon fiber mirror cap + side gill

BMW Performance Mk. II carbon fiber spoiler + emblem

BMW Performance intake louver

M Performance exhaust

Out and about

Obligatory bored-and-unamused-girlfriend-in-the-passenger-seat shot

Lastly, here's a compilation of some videos that show off the M Performance exhaust. The quality isn't that great, but the sound should give you an idea of how refined the note of this unit is.

All comments welcome, and thanks for looking!

Still debating on splitters though, dont wanna spend so much and have them scraped and ruined.

Gorgeous! I love it! Only one suggestion: get smoked reflectors...that would look sweet on that color car

Tastefully done!

  • Space Gray bumper plugs

Very nicely done! I would add the painted reflectors to change the orange ones in the front bumper.

Ciao,

Jeff

Awesome car Amer, it's looking great!

You should consider the splitters, I think it would give a nice touch to the front.

Your making me want to come out and see/hear it, I'll let you know!

Thanks for all the comments, guys. Painted reflectors are not for me -- I think they look a bit tacky. God forbid I ever get into a fender bender, but that would give me an excuse to import a European front bumper.

Also not a fan of the BMW Performance carbon fiber splitters, but I'm a bit intrigued by the front lip on the E90 GTS.

Oh, and maybe the Alekshop DCT paddles with lighted +/- symbols.

I look at the painted reflectors as the lesser of two evils. The orange reflectors are the worst thing on the outside of these cars, just aweful.

Euro bumper is ideal.

Very nice. Heidi looks great! I'm sure Heidi will want some new gifts in the future. Maybe some new shoes or some make-up here and there.

I'm still torn on the BMW Perf spoiler or a Vorsteiner trunk... Thanks for posting pics.
