You input your vehicle'e weight... include your weight and the weight of everything in you car if you are a type A person and wants to be really precise on everything...
Then you put in the power loss due to drivetrain friction... but this is a problem... how do you find an exact figure? Anyways... then it computes the power from power = force x velocity and force = mass x accleration... you do the math... Quote:

By buddy got the free version and it's pretty damn good. It read his M Coupes HP at 270whp, which is 326 with a 1.21 correction factor.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

hey i bought this and am trying it. what did you guys use for weight? I used 3450 (adding me and matts etc). for drivetrain loss, I have no idea, so I used 0%. Someone says 12% I think.
What # should I be getting for WHP?

If drive train loss is 12% doesn't that mean WHP will be 414bhp minus 12%? ie. around 360ish

Yes, after it's docked, you can still access all the functions. I have one in my '09 coupe and it works great. I did order the smartphone integration option and the plug in adapter looks slightly different than the one pictured. It's a tight fit for the phone and so if you have a case over the phone, you have to remove it. I get all the phone functions and all the music. It works great. It also ties into the car's antennas, so the phone's signal is a bit better than just leaving it in your pocket. The only problem I have is that I keep forgetting my iPhone when it's plugged into the cradle. If you also plug in another iPod with the USB connector, the music plays on the iPod and not on the iPhone. Since the car has a hard drive, I have all my music stored on the HD of the car, so I never use my iPhone for music....but I could. |

I've floored my 335i multiple times before, it was quick but this feels completely different. Guess the V8 420hp does make a difference after all!
Well, after owning it for 6 months. I finally build up confidence and floored it today, twice. ![]() MDM, Sport+, EDC 1, Toyo T1 Sport tyres, ambient 10C degrees. Supersprint Race backbox, 2nd cat/resonator delete. Only thing is that its from an app (dynolicious), not sure what % to set the power train loss, the weight of the car (I made a rough estimate). Seems pretty accurate? I've seen some dyno that says 345~ WHP stock (91 RON), with my exhaust mods, 99 RON V-Power Nitro+ and run from an app. I'm quite surprised that it predicted 379 hp. Give or take and my 5.11 sec 0-60 with a ever so slight downhill gradient (cheating!) and a slight bad start. Had a slight jolt. 1st and 2nd gear all the way to 8000 rpm. Oh + 1 passenger. What should I set drive train loss and weight at?! ![]() ![]() Oh and a added bonus... new video.
