Been thinking about pulling the trigger on this fuel rail paired with their filter. However, a fuel pressure gauge on the dash would be a bit more convenient.

In my opinion, if you have the skill to install that kit, you also have the skill to keep the stock system, installing a tee in the pressure sensor connection, where you'll add a gauge. It will cost a fraction of that kit.

The sensor connection thread is M10 with 1.0mm of thread pitch.

Yes it is. A friend of mine had a screen installed in one of the air vents, where he monitored the fuel pressure and several other variables.

Good point, presumably we can use that instead then if it feeds info without the engine running.

I assume the vent mod your referring to is one of the units in the picture, I cannot confirm it monitors fuel pressure but its currently for sale on this site by another member.

No it was at the fuel pressure sensor at the firewall. T-d off the metal fitting. I'll try and search for it.

Also didn't cost so much like that.

Yes. A simple small gauge just teed off where the pressure sensor is.

One of the pictures shows fuel pressure indication.

And yes, that's what I'm referring to.
