I have that solution and my cap has the hole already. Definitely wasn't drilled but a part of the mold. Isn't that the pressure relief that folks concert with the sweat band?

What the hell... I learned something new today. I thought people were drilling holes in the caps this whole time. Lol

It's another - albeit small - weight savings waiting to happen on your car. To the drill press it must go..

The cap is designed with the hole, there's a channel that goes through you can see on the Inside.
Does anyone have a part number for a screw in metal barb for the hole? My plastic one has seemed to have shrunk and can be pulled out easily.

The BW pedal cover set for the auto fits the DCT/manual if you do it carefully. While mine is sloppy, it’s so much easier to brake with my left foot.

Spent the day at BMW Performance West (Thermal) yesterday. Drove the M2 Comp on their mini circuit, M5 Comp on the drift pad, M8 Comp and M4 Comp on South Palm at Thermal. Comments:
M2 was a good overall car but brakes (Steel performance kit) lacked bite and it understeered very easily on the stock continentals. M5 is very easy to drift with the torque it produces M8 felt smaller than the M5 while driving and the grip exiting an Apex was insane with AWD. Top speeds of 135 on the back straight of South Palm. CCB's and the torque made everything feel in control and tame. M4 felt the best. Had never driven the M4 on a track and actually liked the way it sounded, revved, and handled. It felt better than the M8 on track and also hit 130 on back straight of South Palm so it must have carried more corner speed than the M8. CCB's on the M4 had similar brake feel to the Brembo fronts I run on OEM rotors but were more consistent for 6 hot laps in a row. Biggest take away is that brakes are everything and I'd like to upgrade my rotors. Thinking about a front set of the 380x32 racingbrake rotors. Anyone have a recommendation otherwise or have experience with those? Also, got to do this which was fun 😂 https://youtube.com/shorts/HgSxXyQ--n0

Hey all - finally going to be installing my Ohlins c/o's that I bought back in December lol I've been through all the videos and DIY's, but are there any tips or gotchas you guys know of? Barry from 3DM already assembled them w/ the vorschlag camber plates. I also have some powerflex black rear strut bushings I plan on using. Any advice/input would be great!
