Turbo or Supercharger?

Hey Guys. I have been doing some research about turbo vs supercharger.
I dont know what way to go and what is better. I am aiming on 600 hp and reliability.
Can you tell me the pros and cons and wat way you would go for.
A friend tells me all the time to go turbo.
I am just afraid it could be pure trouble.

When you find a turbo setup for the S65 let me know.

TL;DR: Supercharger

Yeah I saw you own a 850 and that's a really cool car !
Other people thought you was the owner of an ///M3 .

But I have no idea if a 850 with Turbo was built on here ...

So you would say making a turbo kit is a hassle?

If you are the first one attempting to put a kit together from scratch it will be a hassle as you are the one getting parts fabricated and figuring out tuning and so on.

Supercharger. $8k
Turbos. $20k+

Unless you're in pursuit of 1000hp. Then supercharger.

You mentioned a set HP level you are looking to achieve. Go SC IMO. I haven't seen anyone running a turbo kit, but many with SC setups. The cost of turbo is stupid and I can't even imagine what it would be like to install. You'd probably be 23k into the setup with no info from other to go off of in the future.

Small clip of one of our systems. It show a BMW 850Ci with 2 eaton superchargers and water cooled intercooler on a rolling road to be finetuned.

In stock condition the car produced 280hp and 430Nm, during this run we measured around 400hp and 650Nm. After some additional tuning we reached the final number of 450hp and 730Nm.

I know this kit and it was shit.
The owner has gone single supercharger. He was always ripping belts with the two chargers.
Regarding HP it would be super to go to 800 hp in the future. The question is if it is possible with a Supercharger.
