Haha thanks everyone. I'm really liking this forum more and more with your warm welcomes! I'm glad to be a part of the community. @Chiefz_m3 its a long process, but it helps if its her car that's getting detailed. It was also one of those things where you ask for a puppy from your parents and do everything you can to show that you can take good care of it!

Boy, that escalated quickly.

Personally, i was psyched to see a detailing thread because I went to the annual M3 meet-up at Griots Garage in Tacoma, Washington, last weekend and came home with five different kinds of special fu@%ing towels, a clay bar kit, some kind of spray for the clay, some polymer wax sealant, exterior rubber seal treatment, and special foam pads to apply the wax. I've allotted 3 hours for this project tomorrow. That's probably optimistic.
