Brendan, these are the same exact sizes and offsets as your 19" set. The poster just calculated the offset to include the spacer (ET21 with a 18mm spacer = ET3, ET22 with a 15mm spacer = ET7; you substract the size of the spacer to get to the final "effective" offset) |

What is the best PSS Tire Size M3 E93 Stock with TE37 SL
Questioning - 2011 M3 - E93 Versus E92 Tire Differences for Volk TE37 SL?
I just ordered TE37 SL Wheels in Pressed Graphite 19x9.5 ET+21 19x10.5 ET22. I looking to put Michelin PSS on but I am trying to figure out the best tire sizes... I'm thinking of the following options. 1. 265/30 and 295/30 - I am concerned rear might be a tight fit but understand the E93 has a bit more rear room than the E92. 2. 265/30 and 285/30 - Just to be sure of fit or 3. 255/35 and 285/30 - Does anyone know if the E93 is different than the E92 for rear well room and regardeless if these sets would have an rub or issues with the speedometer? Your input would be appreciated. |

I can help with the fronts, you're better off going 265/30 instead of 255/35.
I've tried both 265/35 and 255/35 and both rub. I have 285/35 for rears and I get a bit of rubbing, but with a bit more neg camber I should be good. Go with 285/30 if you want to be safe, but I think 295/30 should be good too. I have TE37's in 19x9.5 ET +22 and 19x10.5 ET +22. The tires I'm using have a square profile on the shoulders.

I have had Te37 SL's with yokohama AD08 tires (which run wider than most tires). See post #17 in the link below for my fitment. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=522139 You will be able to get 275's to fit in the front but they may rub slightly at full lock and you will want to maximize your camber to make them look and fit correctly. 295's in the rear will most likely rub slightly. Unfortunately you probably need et27 to eliminate the rubbing in the rear completely with 295's. It didn't rub too bad for me and only on large dips in the road. I would be hesitant to run that size now that I am much lower on coilovers. If I got another set I would probably go with 275/30 front and 285/30 rear or 255/35 front and 275/35 rear. 265/30 in the front will work but I don't like how short that tire is (smaller side-wall).

Ill be looking for a set of 18x10.5 square in the near future. Would i have less or more clearance/fitment issues with 275/35/18 in the front due to profile and a 1" wider rim? And, why didn't you go with a square 18x10.5 setup if you're running square tires? Thanks! |
