Coding doesn't take long, so that shouldn't be an issue. A tech day sometime would be fine by me if everyone's schedules aligned, in fact that'd probably be preferable to doing one-offs for everyone. As I mentioned in an edit to my earlier post, I'll be out of town until 7/25 starting this Tuesday though, so this will have to wait a bit. But if the people who are interested can PM me their car models (including production month) and the features they want so I can prep and confirm that I can do the coding you want to your car, this should work out fine.

The wiper option wasn't available in my car but if I can find it on yours I'll give it a shot. It might have been removed. Engine Start/Stop only applies to 2011.5 M3s and it refers to the engine being turned off when you're stopped at a red light, for example. On US cars that feature is off by default when you start the car. With this it will start up in whatever state it was in when you were last driving.

Fyi I'm back in town. I'm available this coming weekend if that'd work, but next weekend and the weekend after I'll be out of town again -- after that I don't have any more trips planned until the end of the year.
Depending on how many people come, the next issue will be finding a place that both has sufficient shade and an outdoor electrical outlet (or really long extension cord) for my laptop.

August 20 is the date for the next BMW CCA event here, so I'll probably want to go to that. The actual event is still TBD though so we'll see. As I mentioned earlier, I'm probably happy to do this for free since it's so straightforward, and as for travel the plan so far has been for everyone else to come to Austin. I won't have a reason to be down in Houston for a while and I'm not sure that would be an option for me in the near future anyway.

Pretty much the same answer as Houston -- I won't have any reason to go there in the foreseeable future and probably won't have the time. I just offered my free coding abilities from Austin in case anyone else happened to be around here or would have a reason to be here; I don't really want to turn it into a side job.

Definitely not too late. No date has been picked; 8/20 was the only suggestion but as I said I'll probably want to go to the BMW CCA event that day. If there isn't any traction on a firm date shortly and you want to make a trip up to Austin though I'd be happy to help.

I haven't done retrofit/part swap coding and while I have the instructions I don't want to use someone else's car as a guinea pig. Please take a look at the list that was copied into Post 1 for the choices.
