Need confirmation, I bought ACL rod bearings part 8B1580HX-STD, there’s no markings for top or bottom. Is it the same for both?

Yes they are, I'm pretty sure that's what I used.

Well guys the bad news is, it turns out BMW Discontinue the bedplate sealer. Every online that shows available, once I place my order, I get a email saying it’s no longer available. Not sure what my next move is. Over the weekend I was able to install the pistons.

Where are groups like Carbahn, Partee and Mporium getting their sealant from?

I think you just need more fogging oil for men, and you’ll be good to go.

Still waiting on parts and just thought about something. Should I replace my oil coolers and lines or would I be ok just flushing it?

You’re doing a lot to not have it all fresh. I’d replace it.

Replace EVERYTHING that has seen the old oil. Unless you hate money.

Need some advice, I had ordered the original bedplate sealant and started putting the engine back together. Just to find out it’s no longer available. The new sealant needs to be applied before installing the bedplate. Problem is, I have already installed bedplate and piston. Do are use a different anaerobic sealant or take it apart and re do it?

I’m not sure of the answer. Probably best to call Lang Racing and ask one of their S65 engine builders. There in SoCal. Wish I could help more.

No specific S65 experience, but I'd follow the sealant manufacture installation procedure.

I expected defeated and redid my bedplate.

I ended up using the replacement sealant BMW recommended. That’s the only choice as of now. I reached out to Carbahn and Lang Racing and that’s what they are using also.
