Been out of the game awhile... new baby.. wife says bye bye to m3... 11 months later... dad says hello new m3... carseat fita great in back btw. found a 13 e92 with dct and comp package. Got really lucky. Black on black. Gonna drive it awhile before doing anything.. prob change oil soon and smoke some electric cars..

so... you completely cut off insurance while you keep your car stored? and then reactivate for a few months at a time?
what about potential theft or fire or such?

hopefully their last track day. we all start out new to something before we are good at something, but this dude has zero clue as to what a racing line is.

another interesting thing is you nearly followed him off the hill- probably because you were in shock seeing what this dude did. they always say, you drive were your eyes look and this might be an example of that.

The Adams Ceramic wheel coating is holding up so far.. it's been about a month, one wash and a few hundred miles since I applied it, which I know isn't a lot. I love the smooth feel to touch and all I did was hose and wipe the inner barrels. I applied it to two sets of wheels and I think I have a set's worth extra to spare so value seems pretty good. It was a labor intensive process for the older used wheels pictured. Proper cleaning, prepping and applying took a few hours. After the month and before wash, I noticed less brake dust on the wheels then before treatment. So far I would recommend this product, it seems to be excellent. I was skeptical about applying to satin finished wheels too but I don't see any patchiness.

Right on both counts. I was just as much a novice as he was and I got fixated on following him (target fixation?) and actually had 3 wheels off the track before recovering

I am about to do exactly this but using cquartz d.lux.

Did you take the wheels off? did you do any prep on the surface? Did you use the spray ceramic or the liquid?

You were wise to not try and pass him around turn 6-7. It's like he was giving your room, but forgot to point. You could probably assume he had no idea you were behind him as well.
