Nice promotional department output but pure male bovine excrement.
Here is the real story.

Italy's recent tax reforms, which replaced emissions-based company car taxes with fuel-type taxation, heavily penalize internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. By taxing fossil fuel fleets at 50% of operating costs compared to just 10% for battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

Purchase Subsidies: The Italian government offers financial incentives for fully electric vehicles (BEVs) with purchase prices up to €35,000 (excluding VAT). These subsidies can reach up to €11,000, depending on the buyer's income bracket (ISEE) and if they are scrapping an older, highly polluting vehicle.

Behind every EV is a idiot politician who knows nothing about Science, Mining, Manufacturing or Accounting!
Precisely! Well said.
Back and rear quarters make me think they were maybe trying to cue an Alpha Romeo SZ? But poorly.

But then that's an Alpha Romeo, not a Ferarri. But at least it's the right color?

There are plenty of not-bad-looking EVs, but this isn't one of them. There are also some good-looking EVs, but again, this is so far from that...this is just wacky.

"Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines," and "I don't sell cars. I sell engines. The cars I throw in for free".
Enzo Ferrari
Everything about this is hideous, and not just the way it looks.

Painted plastic hood deflector on a plastic hood. Oh, the IRONY!
Makes the Asstek look like a beauty queen lol.
Hilarious. They use developed in parallel with motorsport, which is code for not developed by motorsport teams. Then use the words emotion and soul to describe an EV. These guys must get excited by a blender.
Genuinely surprised this has Jony Ive's name attached to it.

It looks like the work of the design studio was outsourced to the free version of ChatGPT....actually, i can't even say that. I wouldn't be surprised if Chat could generate a more decent concept than this.

Why? Jony Ive hasn't had an original idea in a couple decades. And even then, all he did is make ridiculously simple designs, which was considered cool in the 90's and 00's. He should have stayed in his lane of making everyday consumer products.

He's an overrated billionaire and it's nice to see what people really think about his design ability without the Apple blinders on. If this car was branded Apple, people would call the design revolutionary and futuristic, even though it is not.

The car is revolutionary and futuristic. It dramatically alters design and it is obviously ahead of its time as no one like the way it looks in the present.

However, it also looks like a little bitch of a car and in no way should it have a Ferrari badge on it. The Luce looks like what happens the morning after you drink a gallon of Kefir with a side bag of marshmallows.

LoveFrom’s prices just went down.
Ferrari put out today that the Luce order book is already full thru the end of 2027. It could be Ferrari ICE car hopefuls sucking up so they can get on the list for the model they really want, or it could be rich guys who actually want the thing. Probably some of each, but either way Ferrari will laugh all the way to the bank.
