Pheonix wroteI have a factory MPE v2 on mine and the Eventuri plenum definitely drowns out the exhaust, especially over 4K RPMs. You'll love its dual personality...quiet and stock when babies vs a complete monster under WOT!RE36TRO wroteHow loud is your exhaust? I drove in AKKANDO e90 M3 and could definitely hear/fell the plenum over his Corsa. My Eventuri Plenum is on its way and hopefully my DINAN exhaust not too loud.Running the Eventuri plenum with Dinan intake. I'm running test pipes with the ACM exhaust mod. I feel like this combo almost completely drowns out the plenum. A bit disappointed but I guess it looks cool while I debate if I should quiet down my exhaust setup.

You guys with the Eventuri plenum....does it have rubber inside the ICV inlet that causes a whistling noise like the OEM plenum? See thread below if not familiar.

Bemo wroteYes, that was the exact experience i had! Pheonix wroteI'd say the exhaust is very loud at WOT, I am running test pipes so obviously it will be a challenge to hear the plenum effect but with all the hype here and YouTube vids of people's reactions I guess it was just hyped up too much. I guess if I threw on the OEM mid pipe I'd hear the plenum very well.RE36TRO wroteHow loud is your exhaust? I drove in AKKANDO e90 M3 and could definitely hear/fell the plenum over his Corsa. RE36TRO wroteACM is probably louder than dinan or corsa because it's basically just straight through the muffler without going through any of the sound reducing stuff in the center. Combined with xpipe without cats it's going to be loud.Pheonix wroteI'd say the exhaust is very loud at WOT, I am running test pipes so obviously it will be a challenge to hear the plenum effect but with all the hype here and YouTube vids of people's reactions I guess it was just hyped up too much. "Every review I have seen of people removing cats and running the ACM mod exhaust, no matter how many resonators, say it's crazy loud and cannot be driven on the street"
Eventuri x Dinan x Gruppe
Eventuri with DINAN Intake:happyanim:
The CF weaves are not exactly the same but at least they lined up in the same direction!
I still have to sort out the DINAN Strut Braces as the passenger side almost touches the plenum when the engine is hot.
Thank You to all the members for helped me with the tips/tricks for the installation:bow:

Cheapest horsepower gain would be a primary cat delete & DME tune. $2-3K for 7-10whp gain is pretty nice. I wonder if these intake systems works well with the stock tune?
Are these 7 - 10 whp gains from the intake or just the plenum? I have a macht schnell intake that I would like to keep as is. Thanks.
The-Traveler wroteIt's from the intake, the plenum doesn't add power. Are these 7 - 10 whp gains from the intake or just the plenum? I have a macht schnell intake that I would like to keep as is. Thanks.
I am one click away from getting myself a Xmas present. Leaning towards Karbonius for its rawness, not sure if Eventuri makes a ton of difference compared to stock.
I am open to different opinions though, so please share your opinions on your Karbonius/Eventuri!

kyrix1st wroteI think you're going to have to go with the OP's experience because not many have had both. The Eventuri plenum made a big sound difference to me with everything else stock. The lid and the elbow after not so much. I can't compare directly to Karbonius.I am one click away from getting myself a Xmas present. Eventuri plenum and MPE on mine. It sounds incredible. I have no other intake or exhaust mods at all and the plenum is VERY noticeable driving hard with the windows up.
On the flip side when cruising in town etc the MPE sounds so good!

kyrix1st wroteHuge difference with eventuri, never heard the karbonious. I recommend the plenum over an exhaust for sound, it's brings the character of the s65 to life.I am one click away from getting myself a Xmas present. kcdedric wroteI just purchased and installed a full Karbonius setup (pic below) from an honorable member of this fine forum. I'm running MPE and stock mid pipe and am blown away. Sounds incredible at all rpm ranges. The install however wasn't totally trouble free. I completely agree with the OP's description of fitment of the airbox lid and his description of the issue was spot on. I have the same issue. I do however have two other issues.Browntrash wroteStock x-pipe with MPE.Nice. Thanks for doing this. What exhaust system is this... stock?
The first is I'm getting a CEL and not sure why given I'm very sure all connections were and are solid. Maybe it's a coincidence and an O2 sensor has gone bad somewhere?
Second thing isn't really an issue but an observation. I took the car out today and did a very aggressive run. Lots of WOT and redline pulls because that's where the setup screams as we all know. I observed something that I can describe as a skittering sound coming from the plenum, my windows were up. Essentially wide open in first to redline, then same thing in second. The skittering sound occurred mainly during second gear pulls to redline and began at 6k and on. The best way to describe it is how your car skitters as it seeks traction and TC is intervening. And although that was also happening I don't think that's the issue. I tried many pulls at 3/4 throttle too to try to prevent TC from kicking in and the noise didn't go away. Maybe something is loose with my install? Or maybe this is just inherent in the Karbonius? It's dated from 2019 fyi. Any insights are appreciated.
