It's a tube frame racecar, not made with any sense of volume production in mind.

You could make the car look like anything it's purely aesthetic.

Definitely an impressive exercise in engineering, but it totally defies the purpose of the i8. I agree BMW got the powertrain all wrong, it should have been 100% electric. I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but put me down as a 'meh'.

High output 4cyl with 2 motors in the front. This will maintain the i concept

Like many others have echoed, there have been some missed opportunities for BMW.

This is a valuable addition to the S65 back-catalogue.
I've added this to the compilation thread of S65 racing engines.

Seriously, the only thing that is from the i8 is the windshield and the front and rear lignts, and some of the silhoutte!
