I thought earlier in this thread it was posted that the initial MF will drop to 0.00215. My numbers are based on that assumption. I won't be accepting delivery of any vehicle until 10-2008.

Yes, so far it is .00275 for MF.

Also it appears you guys are forgetting sales tax on monthly payment.

With nothing down.

36 months, 10k miles a year gets you a total payment of $1214. Drive offs are $1734.

You were close.

10k miles a year gives you a 56% residual. I assumed you used that because of your payment a month.

I also have the MF at .00270 It should drop .00005 next month.

im seriously considering going thru an independent bank/lease company. for my 335 i got quotes that are 100 less than BMW numbers.

Why will it drop? Because fed rates dropped and BMW usually knocks them back a bit. I was informed to use "standard rate". BMW's standard rate for Feb was .00275. I used .00270 in anticipation of the drop in rate.

I have the residual figures right in front of me. I posted them in the main forum, but I also have 20 months, 39 and others.

The best bet looks to finance the car thru a credit union. Get a rate of 5.99 for 60% and you are at a mid $1200 payment, but ya own the car sort of.

My CU is 5.69 right now for 60 months. Hoping it will go down in the next two weeks. Leasing never makes sense unless there is a tax advantage, IMO.
