Daytime Driving Lights - rear lights not coming on

Morning guys, hope you're all well.

Wondering if somebody may have the answer to my small question. I recently traded in my 2007 manual M3 for a 2012 ZCP DCT version, but on the new car I'm finding that the rear lights won't come on when using the Daytime Driving Light function. They used to always stay on with the old car.

Any way I can enable these to work with the driving light function? Not a fan of switching to the side light position because it dims the front rings. I'm thinking about the Lux kit which will remove the dimming but for the moment I'm preferring the stock ring colour.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you guys.

DRL are front lights only, the rears SHOULD NOT be on.

I think it's in the iDrive settings under lights, atleast it is on my 09 328.

I love having the rear lci's always glowing.

Here's a pic of my Lux too, I love them they're the 6500k V3.

It's strange, my old 2007 version had the rear lights on too under the daytime light function, but the 2012 version doesn't.

Anybody know if any coding can be done? Or is the answer to this that coding can do anything and everything?

I believe, offhand, that coding can be done to control what other lights come on with the DRL's. I'd have to look again to get the actual settings.
