white angel eyes - new product

With the car in storage, I've been out of the game for most of the winter as I built a garage...

Last summer, I replaced my oem angel eye bulbs with 5300k colored ones... It produced much whiter rings but still, there's room for improvement.

I was just wondering if any new product surfaced that received positive feedback. If not, what is the most recognized way to getting pure white rings, without breaking the bank?

I agree, the end result looks good but I don't want to open up the headlight assembly or have someone do it...

I should've mentioned, a "simple" solution or bulb swap is what I'm looking for.

Outside of changing the "temperature" with LUX V4 bulbs, your best bet is to swap the rings.

The OEM design for these is just lackluster compared to the newer stuff where the LED is built into the bottom of the ring as opposed to the light source coming from a bulb behind the assembly.

I got some white Cree led bulbs off eBay. No errors, they are bright, and no flickering.

Going with an a full ring replacement will be the brightest because you dont have to deal with the design flaws of the stock headlights. If you are looking for the brightest Plug and Play solution then we offer the LUX H8 V4 Lights as well.

As far as I know, the eyebrows are mandatory to stabilize the V4/DTM halos and to hide wiring ... OSS can actually customize and paint these eyebrows to your liking!!

Thx for sharing guys. Anyone can comment on which color temp produce a pure white, without any blue or yellow tint? From the online pics, 5000K look spot on to me?

Where to buy ? I'm in Quebec, any Canadian distributors?

I went with DTECs because LUX V4s have cheap looking blue blobs that are visible.

The DTECs are fantastic. Brighter than my Lux V3, and pure white without the blobs in the new ones.

If you set the color at 5000k (lowest color temp setting), there is no blue blobs in the color. The way it adjusts color is by turning on/off blue colored LEDs which causes the blobs.
