experience camping @ LAGUNA SECA
well over this last weekend the wife and i and 2 dogs loaded up the toy hauler and headed out to laguna seca for some camping...now i have been to laguna more times then i can count for HPDE DAYS, and professional races and have always seen people camping and wondered if it would be a good place to stay for a few nights.... i called ahead and it was stated that non professional race days you can show up as first come first serve... once we arrived we drove around to check out all the different sites that are located on the hills as you first drive into the track...for the most part we had any choice of sites we wanted as there were not many people there...most sites were covered with crushed granite, all have clean designated fire pits... i did not use them but there are full maintained showers and solid structure toilets... some sites have green camping carpet placed on the ground if you did not want to camp on the crushed granite...all sites were full hookup ie water and electricity.... most sites had a full raised view of the track...fees were 30$ a night non hookup, 35$ if you used the hookups, 2$ per dog, and 10$ if you dumped your waste on the way out....over all i cant say enough about it...was unsure until we got there if we would enjoy it but they have a gun range, full view to watch the hpde, plenty of hiking and mountain biking!!!! over all i recommend it!!!!
