Iron block + head work. 50psi is irrelevant without knowing what turbo is on the car.
It probably wont last too long running like that, but there are plenty of 900whp EVO's running around.

Good on him for doing a clean build but any credit I give the guy is lost with the parachute...that he's never used...and drives around town with.

Matt did not need to go all the way there to see an Evo like that. There a more than a couple 1000+hp Evos that run 8 second at over 160mph quarter miles in the united states. These are the cars that actually require a chute per NHRA rules.
