Should I buy a used Secondary Air Pump (Emissions control air pump)?

Turnermotorsport.com is offering one on its website and they just said that they don't know more information other than "This is a used air pump that was taken off a very low milage car that we converted into a race car"

They don't have details of which car, how many miles, when it was removed, etc. They just said it "was working when they removed it from the car". And the only warranty they give is that if it doesn't work they refund me the $.

The price is almost -43% of a new one, but considering the labor cost of disassembling the engine then validating if its working or not..then if it doesn't work i have to leave my car disassembled buy a new one, request refund, etc.(Considering I will do this at a indy shop).

What are your comments?

Why? Just tune the car and get rid of the cold start
