Think Im Loosing My Mind
ok so went to the laguna a few weeks ago...i have 3 years under my belt with my e46 m3 so this wasnt my first rodeo...did all my pre track inspections and prep....came back parked the car in the garage and a few days later began post track inspections looking for broken, worn parts and also checking all fluids...i noticed my power steering fluid wasnt registering on the stick. the fluid registered full before i left for the track and there are no signs of leaks...this is where i ask a dumb question but does the car have to be warm before checking the power steering...

These cars are known to leak PS fluid on the track. Wrapped a wristband around the reservoir and the problems solved. Good luck and have fun

He's suggesting that you use a wristband to cover up the PS cap. But since you didn't notice any fluid all over the engine you might have a different issue. Check the fluid again at operating temp...........Phil
