Dinan Intake & MPE?

Is anyone running this combo and moreover in San Diego such that I could possibly come hear it live?

I'm considering adding the intake to the existing M Performance exhaust which is subtle in terms of both cabin noise and open window driving. I'm concerned the intake mod will completely dominate the MPE to the extent it will be all I hear/sense.

I'm only considering the Dinan option FWIW for a number of reasons.

I have the intake and Stock exhaust, and it will do nothing but make your car sound Bad Ass, you cant even tell the intake is on until you give it a fair amount of gas, You'll Love it.

Have the Dinan intake and the MPE, the intake will not dominate the MPE sound at all. Subtle enhancement is how I would characterize it (and actually I think the free flowing air actually adds some depth to the exhaust sound). You will not be disappointed.

just got the intake (have to update my signature) it's hard to describe the sound difference, but it's more "throaty". and the throttle response is wonderful. one of my fave mods.

I think it's 10% off for M3s. I wonder if this will void my warranty. I just got the car. lol.

Dinan has a warranty on their parts that matches BMW, so i really wouldn't worry about that.

plus, it's Dinan, a company that has a lot of respect from BMW. any service center that gives you grief over a Dinan part is a service center you don't need to go to.

No need for concern, no added noise at start up.

Turns out there is a 3-4 week lead time due to back orders from Dinan. Oh well the excitement from anticipation is all part of the process. I've twice had to wait 6 months for a Porsche part so this is cake as they say.

And PS I confirmed it's only 10% off for the E92 intake through 7/31 in lieu of 20% for all other models (naturally)
