Lime Rock Edition Pricing
What is the best purchase price anyone has been able to get on the Lime Rock Edition M3?
Are dealers willing to adjust or not? |

+1 I also wonder if they sell above MSRP or invoice. For those that bought the LRP M3 please give us the head up.

Doubt they gave below msrp or near invoice. I would say no deals happened. Dealers order this car thinking $$$$

Supply & demand..every regional market is different.
In the Pacific NW, all have been sold (5 or 6 ) That said, still see them for sale in other parts of the country. Make an offer if you're serious - either you own it or you don't. Car business out here is strong...record months for many brands.

Here's one for you to check out. Looks like the dealer is willing to deal on this one.

Just my 2 cents on BMW dealer website prices...when I was shopping for my
LRE, I found some priced similar to the above link - equipped with lots of options - equal to cars in the low-mid eighties. Digging a little deeper w/sales people, turned out that who ever input the data was clueless that the car had pricing different than a regular M3. "There was a error " - then they went into how rare blah, blah, blah, etc Generally the prices listed on current model year cars (2013) will show MSRP and if there's a discount they reflect that number in the display along w/MSRP. I have seen NEW 2012 cars advertised w/with discounted prices.....I've never seen M cars though. Maybe this is not the case here, but I got the run around & therefore bought locally.

Your welcome.
In your negotiations, if you plan to make a move on it, keep in mind the invoice on a base Limerock is about 65k. When you add the invoice price of the options that have been added to the car (found here-http://bmwconfig.com/BmwConfig/Config.aspx) you'll have a fairly good estimate of how much the dealer is paying for the car. Good hunting! |

Limerock pricing
I have been shopping recently for one of these accross the country after passing one up locally at what I thought was good pricing at $2k off msrp. Best I have found is $1500 over invoice plus $1500 holiday cash plus the $750 loyalty so in essence $750 under invoice and I pay $350 doc/prep fee. Worst is $20K over msrp but they'll let is go for $12,500 over. Ha.

In the NYC metro area, it is difficult to get super deals on an luxury vehicle such as this car, however, I will say that I feel I received a fair savings under sticker.... hence I am pleased with my purchase price. I got the 1 of 50 out of 200 vehicles with the black Y spoke comp wheels, married to the VIN.
