Tire losing air can't find the problem please help.
Hello guys, one of my tire is losing air slowly and I can't find where the air is leaking.
1.Took off the wheel, checked for nails .etc there was nothing. 2. I spray soap water around the tire didn't see any air bubble The only thing I could think of is the tpms. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance guys. |

Make sure the wheel doesn't have a hairline crack anywhere. Also make sure the valve stem is screwed in all the way.........Phil

Check the valve stem to make sure it is sufficiently tight. Also, make sure the inner core is tightened.
If you sprayed soap and water and didn't find bubbles on the rim or the tire, chances are the bead of the tire is destroyed. This is often a result of a poor installation of the tire. Malek

Sometimes the wheel or tire only leaks when the weight of the vehicle is on it, or at a certain point in its rotation. A very slight bend in the wheel, for example, could cause a less-than-perfect seal that would let out small amounts of air as the tire rolled. I think, though it was never proven, that this was behind a slow leak I had a few years back. That sort of thing can be really hard to isolate.

Also had nails ( brand new, clean ) set up under my tires few times, this was at the gym parking lot and bar parking lot. lucky I check under my tires every time before I drive my car. I can imagine people who drives even better cars like Ferrari and Lambo Lots of hater around here I guess. |
