Im pretty sure Rotiform has an E92 M3 bagged on BLQ's looks dope.

Generally on this forum I find people frown upon going really low.
You are in Ontario and have access to one of the most reputable
air ride shops AAC http://www.airassisted.ca/aac/index.htm
call them and get a quote it will not be cheap.
My last car was bagged there are pro's and con's.

Air bags have no business on a M3. Even if you want the slammed look you can achieve that with coilovers.

Thanks dude! What would you say is the biggest con?

To the tools who had no imput or asked why? I'll ask why not? The majority of you dudes with m's don't even track your cars...but have them setup for track day, but the hardest corner your car sees is getting on and off the freeway!
Chill out dudes...its an m3, not a 997, R8, or Enzo! And if you want a real track car buy an E30 M!

Well you have air lines, compressors and a tank. After you air out a few times the
compressors kick in so there is a buzzing sound for about a minute while the tank fills with air.
Sometimes valves get stuck open or a line leaks. Nothing too major but just little headaches.
If you are willing to spend big bucks there are actually Air Ride kits specific for the track.

Call AAC and speak with Kevin he will answer any questions you have.

Well since you seem to be such an expert on what is and isn't a track car I will provide my recommendations of what to get if you want air bags.

Go buy a Lexus, old Caprice police car, or a small truck. Make sure you get some neon lights and some big speakers and of course multiple amps under lighted plexiglass. Do they make spinners yet for M3's? I hear Pepboys is running a special this month on trick paint that flips under different lighting.

Come out to a trackday once you get your car bagged and I will show what is wrong with doing this.I have instructed in enough dropped cars to see how poorily they handle compared to a stock M3 or a car properly prepared for the track. There a lot of M3's that are seriously tracked in the Toronto area so please come out and we can have a chuckle at your car bouncing down the track.

I don't think he's looking to track the car.

While it makes me personally sick to think of someone doing this to an M3 and found the initial reply hilarious, do we really need to perpetuate the stereotype that M owners are dicks?

Glad you found someone to answer your question OP. Good luck.

im gonna do this on my 69 rolls, slam it on bags... some old school bbs.... wait... that might actually look good...

keep the bags away from the m3, theres a reason in the entire run of this car we havent "seen" one person do it.

and dont come on this forum being high and mighty and calling people out

I guess you guys missed the part about me saying I'm not tracking the car! I simply want bags for astetic purposes! I KNOW my car won't handle like it's on rails...I get it! And seriously if I wanted a track car I would get a 997...simple!

But to sit here and tell me I don't know anything about cars....Please! I was born into the car scene...I've built several cars...none of which had " neon lights" or " euro tails"!

And mr. Bring your car to the track with bags...my father has built and raced many cars across the pond (France) and even raced karts along side Alan Prost...so trust me I'm well informed of what's needed to make a great track car!

To each their own. Not sure why you're so worked up on what other's are doing to THEIR M3s. No need for sarcastic comments. Every other M3 has H&R springs KW blah blah. Props for being different good luck finding what you want
