Vorsteiner Boot (Trunk) Review

So after having this beautiful double sided carbon trunk with the 4x4 weave on the underside sitting at my shop for almost 4 months while waiting for my car to be delivered, I finally got the chance to install it. This is their newest and most updated version.

While the thing looks fantastic and from most angles stock appearing, I would have to rate the overall fitment an 8. For the price, I would expect no modifications to be made in order to get things to fit. I had to dremel multiple areas to get the latches and license plate lights to fit. The final fitment of the trunk itself is also not perfect. We spent 3 hours attempting to get it to line up but finally had to settle.

Overall, I would probably do it if I had the chance to again. Just a heads up to anyone who was thinking about buying one.

Looks great!

Sounds like yours fit quite well.

I've noticed that some of the vorsteiner trunks are off. Most common is the rear edge (where it rises to make the spoiler) doesn't line up well with the rear quarter panel.

That's mostly where my issues are as well.

This is good to know. I've been leaning towards the other cheaper alternatives.

Careful. In the end...the Vorsteiner trunks look a lot better than some of the replicas I've seen.
