2008 M3 running strong...
I'm really happy about how my 2008 E92 6MT is running at this point. 29,000 miles and it feels like new. Mine is a Dec 07 build, so one of the first one's to the States. I run it hard, and it is immaculate even still. Intermittent unusual engine sound reported earlier is indeed a steering issue. Should be a quick fix. Thanks to Taylorcoleman for pointing that out. Due for new brakes soon. Otherwise nothing problematic. Some wear on leather seats, but need a magniyfing glass to really call it out. 6MT is more smooth. Haven't grinded 1 to 2 in ages. it's getting colder lately and cold starts are as beastly as ever. With RPI Exhaust it is maddening my neighbors haha. E92 M3 = Best all around car for the money if you enjoy driving. period.

I'm with you on the RPI, mornings are treacherous for about 30 seconds in the garage at start up. No regrets with the sound.

Thanks for posting that. It's insane this car is BMW's most reliable. Reliability as a component is gonna make it even tougher to part with this car if I decide to.
