WTB: OEM Hood Vents
Looking to buy some matte black hood vents. Only thing I can find online are CF and I don't want to pay for those. Just want basic vents. Anybody have any they replaced? |

I have matte black hood vents. Some supporting vendors have them. Sometimes you have to click for cf ones and then there would be an option for matte black ones. I did a lot of shopping around for these and they are mad expensive imo ($110+). Best price I found was on eBay, creative motoring was the ebay store I think. $90 shipped...
You can always paint them yourself. |

Yeah eBay is the only place I found them for less than $100. I don't mind the CF ones cause i could paint them but I couldn't find those for a good price. Was hoping someone had some old ones they didnt need.

For matte black he could probably do it himself
Because it's matte, you don't have to worry about clear coat etc Just spray it with adhesion promoter, so the paint sticks to the plastic Then spray it flat black, you can get that from advanced auto parts or any parts store

Thanks a lot guys. I'm not sure if I want the honeycomb or a mesh. I'll paint them myself no problem. Since they are primed I'll decide if I want them black or color match them.
