stock 19" rims powdercoated or new rims
so i have a mr m3 and i want to get gloss black rims so i can have a gloss black/red match...and i was wondering if it was worth it to get new rims or to powdercoat the 19 inch double spoke rims. I do not have a lot of money to get new rims maybe around 1000? was looking at vmr 710's, linea corse, they dont come in gloss black but i would probably just spray a gloss coat on them, i was wondering on your guys' opinion on whether this would be worth it or not, plus i dont really want to pay money to get weight gains...and also it would be nice if the aftermarket wheels had the same tire size as my stock rims so i do not have to buy new tires. please help i don't know what to do ):

Since you have a limited budget of $1,000 I would paint or powder coat your existing set instead of buying a cheap set, especially if they are OEM 19" forged 220's. You could also sell your OEM rims for about $1000 and add it to your original $1000 budget and get a decent set of wheels for $2K.

Based on my experience with both wheel manufacturers, for quality alone I would definitely go AluFelgen between those choices ... or stay stock.

For 1k you will not find a good aftermarket wheel...the stock M wheels are actually amazing wheels I would powder coat them and call it a day maybe even do your lugs red too.
The powder coater near me charged me $275 to do my 24s on my escalade that was included having them sand blasted and done in gloss black. So for under $300 you can have legit wheels that will change the looks of your car completely. Def worth it.
