Acceleration times in M3 E90 ?

Good evening

Is there anyone here who knows where I can find acceleration times on an M3 E90? Eg. from 0-300, 0-250, 100-200 and so on?

Thank you and best regards from Sweden

Yes, I believe the internet is a good place to start; kudos for that. I hear there is a site called Cougal, or Goober, or something like that that allows you to search for things on the internet.

Seriously, en.wikipedia.com does have quite a bit of properly cited information on E9x series M3 acceleration times.

What a ridiculous answer you get as a new user Good way to welcome newbies on

I've been googeling and I've been on wikidpedia. But seriesly, how much do you think is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M3 around accelerations besides 0-100 kmh? Not a damn thing. So I ask nicely here.

And I would appreciate a serious answer this time !

Drive your E90 to MD and I will pull out my IPhone stopwatch to time you. We"ll do it on I-270. In between my bottles of Becks I'll be chugging I'll time ya. After we're done, you think you can drop me off a my favorite massage parlor? And pick me up three hours later? I likes to take my time!

All I could find for you:

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...son/specs.html

It's a coupe which is about 20-30 lbs less so they're about the same if not the same.

To convert mph to kph simply enter into google

ex. "100 mph in kph"

And you'll get your answer.

Is the discrepancy in times from the various magazines/sources from weather conditions, driver ability, or what? There is a large range

yes.

weather conditions, elevation, driver, track conditions, etc. can all drastically effect performance.

It does + 300 km/h without the limiter. But I haven't found a road to measure my self yet.

As harsh as some of the forum members may be, is it really difficult to Google that kind of information? The M3 has been around since 2008 (or 2007 in some parts of the world) and has been through speed tests by pretty much every automotive magazines/blogs/etc.

You can find damn near anything on Google. :/

That being said, found something on http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/bmw_m3_sedan_e90.html

E90 M3
0-100kmh - 4.5s
0-200kmh - 15.6s
0-250kmh - 28.8s
0-100mph - 9.9s
1.4 mile - 12.7s

Times can vary but I'm sure this would give some sort of baseline. And if you keep on Googling, I'm sure you could find more accurate data.
