It's a SCAM
It's a Scam - when I was looking for that exact car they had two different post on Auto Trader.. You could tell with the pics, but they listed different milage. Don't email them or anything. They will use your email address for mass marketing or something. Even the number they post is bogus!! Stay clear..

You'd think AutoTrader would help filter out these d-bags - being able to trust an online marketplace is pretty key, and they damage their own credibility by not policing this shit better
There is fraud here at the very least if any agency actually had the time / interest to pursue it |

100% scam. I've emailed one before. He wanted like $38k. Of course it's the standard story: He's busy working, you pay for him to deliver the car to you, even if you happen to be in the same town, he still can't have it shown... of course complete BS and scam.

Just wire the 25k to his Nigerian account and the car will be delivered in no time, good luck!

I always check the market for M3s and this car I've seen for God knows how long on AutoTrader... you'd think it would be removed by now for a scam.
I've also seen the same car with black interior and located in Hawaii. Bottom line - if it's too cheap, it's a good chance it's not real.

I've seen ads like this for all types of cars, and motorbikes too. I was polite at first, asking for the actual price, as the one listed couldn't be right (who would sell anything for half of market value?).
What I got back in very broken English clearly indicated to me that it was a scam. Auto Trader doesn't seem to be monitoring their ads at all, so it's caveat emptor. It still sux tho. |

I reported one to the fraud email AutoTrader lists on their site, and it was removed the next day.
It was back 2 days later - these ads are like herpes |
