Hampton Rd and Henderson Rd in Lorton
I had a nice spirited drive through the twisty hills yesterday with my brother that has experience in track racing. He had taken the car through those roads first averaging acceleration to 60-80 mph and hard braking through each corner.
I took the ///M and circled back shortly after dusk and It was the first time I had let her open up in first-second gear and drive her like she was meant to be driven! In one corner as I was slowing down- 3 deers sat in the middle of the road as I waited for them to cross. It seems like before dusk is the best time to drive through there because there is less traffic- but after dusk--you're just asking to hit a deer. As anyone else discovered this area in Lorton? There are some beautiful mansions and large houses with great views here. If anyone wants to go on a nice day, I think we should make a M3 meet. |

Thats definitely the route to take if you want to go from centerville to woodbridge. Look forward to Skyline Run III, it's going to be like that but a long hill climb

Beautiful roads out there. You should check out the cut through that runs through Wolf Run Rd and then Clifton Rd too. I'm there about every other weekend between spring and fall. Lots of fun driving and taking photos!!!
