Tints on my Jet Black e92
I picked my car up a few weeks ago.. a 2009 e92, black on black. Ya gotta love the respect people give when you're cruising around, but sometimes, too much attention!
easy fix - 20% 3M color stable tint  I read some posts here that recommended Sam's Tint is the place to go, so I headed over there. The staff was awesome, the service was amazing (he let me use his car to get coffee while they worked on mine!!!), and the end result, SICK. no need to worry about people looking in any more! I was paranoid about the dot matrix but they use some dot matrix sheeting that seems to do the trick. dont mind the need for a good paint correction. im not impressed with how it came out of the dealer :/ he posted some pics on his facebook site, and I took a few as well. enjoy! http://www.facebook.com/leo.zick?ref...d=306798777079 http://www.facebook.com/leo.zick?ref...d=306798802079 |

What's the dot matrix sheeting you are talking about. I really want to change my tint. The place I had mine done at screwed the dot matrix up it has a ton of bubbles and drives me crazy

i am not sure. it looks like tint, is opaque, and is quite a but thicker.
ill take some close up pics and post them. the dots on the front windows, they sanded them slightly so there wouldnt be bubbles. |

Sam's is in my neck of the woods
 I had them remove the tints on my Wife's car bc the cops warned her 4 times too many. They did a good job and did it quickly. Your car looks super cool with the 18's and tints.

I went with 20% on my AW too... I think it's perfect.. Looks great on yours too.

Tint looks great...I was too big of a wuss to go that dark...went w/ 35%.
