OEM Brake Disc Diameters
Interestingly, I searched this forum for this information and couldn't find it, so I thought I'd post it here in the hopes that it makes it to a "sticky"
The following is the same for all versions of the E9x M3: Front disc diameter: 14.2", or 360.68mm Rear disc diameter: 13.8", or 350.52mm What I'd like to see somebody add is the inside diameters of the OEM 18" and 19" wheels. This should help those considering a BBK make an informed decision, especially if you're designing your own, like I have done in the past. Of course, different calipers have different profiles, so that will need to be taken into consideration too. In order to fit a considerably larger diameter disc within the ID of an OEM wheel, you need a low profile caliper, which AP Racing and Brember make (not sure about StopTech, Wilwood, and others).

Wheels dimensions, front/rear265/40 They list tires sizes for wheel dimensions, and they DO NOT give inside diameters, so what good is that link?

360mm front rotor's not bad at all. Too bad there's no ducting.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
