Jlevi SW | Vorsteiner Debut of the E92 GTS-3 Concept (Photos)

As you guys know, we proudly debuted the GTS-3 concept on Saturday at Bimmerfest.

The car was brought in late to build up a little anticipation, and we were happy to see a large crowd gather as soon as it pulled up.

Opinions welcome. There is a final round of revisions on the bootlid and front bumper already in progress.

Thanks guys!
JL

Bootlid is fantastic, but front spliiter does not do it for me; looks like its stuck on - preferred the VRS anytime.

It will look better in carbon - and it's being revised. It is part of the bumper, though... that's a whole bumper replacement.

Looks ok...

I expected a little more. Maybe the final revisions will be better.

Yep. as I stated in the other thread.

Bootlid looks like a knockoff of Ericsson even though it's different. The idea is unoriginal.

Front bumper needs to be smoothed out. I see a lot of potential there and it's definitely original. But the sharp creases don't fit the rest of the smooth flowing lines on the E9x and they make it look like applied pieces instead of a full continuous piece. A lot of smoothing could really make this a nice bumper. I really like the idea.

Nice try but so far fail.

The vents on the hood look like they are stuck on as an after thought. Are they actually functional like the stock vents are?

Didn't do a damn thing for me. The trunk looks like a poor executed knock off of the Ericsson trunk. Front looks just ok. Hood is a major turn off.

if it's bumper replacement, i expect to see more difference from the stock bumper than that. the vents on the hood are no good, doesn't work for me at all. the boot lid, some others hit it already. spells ericsson to me

I like the front bumper, it remindes me of a cross between the stock front and the Ericsson front - toned down just enough to allow daily drivability. The trunk I also like very much. Yes, it IS similar to the Ericsson, but more refined - i like how wide the extension is and how it doesn't come up quite so far. The hood I would have to see in person, right now I'm on the fence.

I wouldn't mind hearing from JLevi or vorsteiner for that matter about how it looks like a virtual knock off of the Ericsson trunk. I know they're reading this, so please comment.

Does Vorsteiner have any plan with releasing just the splitters?

+1 Smoothing out the front bumper would help. I do like the splitters though.

I really don't understand why you are kissing their asses so hard since this trunk is not even for E90 regardless of how ugly and unprofessionally designed.

which also means they are completely useless for the majority. By the way, where did you learn this "FACT"???
