Escalation on Customer Relations
Hi,
This is regarding BMW NA corporate customer relations. I have not received a response from Ron, executive customer relations, in regards to my open case. It has been since Late January 2026 since it has been opened. Most lemon attorneys have turned my case away because of BMW's reputation. If the engine isnt needing a replacement, they wont take it. Anyways, I am wondering what to do. |

I don't know any details about your issue with BMW and I don't need to know.
I'll offer general advice: When I have found myself in a situation similar to the one I believe you are in I have consulted with an attorney not to take the case so to speak but for ideas about how to proceed. I make it clear right up front I'm not looking for a free consultation although several times it was free but that I'm willing to pay for the attorney's time. I left with good ideas of how to proceed. In several cases this was a letter to the other party I was dealing with and very important what to put in the letter. In one case I wrote a letter and before mailing the letter in talking on the phone with the attorney I had talked to originally he asked me to read the letter to him. After I finished he said it was perfect. The letter contained no threats to lawyer up/sue or other actions just laid out the facts of the matter and a request I receive the money which I was clearly due. I mailed the letter to the other party and was contacted by the other party to come and collect the check. I dashed right over and got the check and deposited it and it cleared and all was well. Hi, I appreciate your advice.
I finally received a response from BMW NA customer relations. I went with 2 lemon law attorneys because they weren't responding or when they would say "nothing is wrong with your vehicle." Back story: After the initial service issue in 01/2026, (Alternator malfuntion, engine check light, battery recharge around ~600 miles) my car was in service for 15 days for a BCP module replacement. BMW NA offered me a $1800 along in signing a notarized document stating I cannot use this previous incident against them for future service repairs but I did not agree. Now it is August 2026, I have had 10 service appts, ~70 days in service. I sent them a long email of my grievance hoping to settle this open case without going to court. |

Maybe lemon law attorney had a point? Quote:
And the two unrelated issues got fully corrected? Quote:
What do you actually want for your budget-X3?! Quote:
I want to be sympathetic, but without knowing what you really want and what those other 8 service appointments were for (regular oil changes, etc?), it could also be the case that your demands are unreasonable. Sorry, without more data, I am inclined to arrive at the same conclusions as the attorneys did.... a
