Codes 56FF 56BB Mechatronics solenoids

Thnx for any Help!! 2008 X3 Ive seen it asked but not answered clearly.
( cost of mechatronics replacement) done at home, is it worth it?
trans is in good shape, check balls good. No metalic agraget, normal amount of dust on the magnet. Fluid in good shape.(i did replace it just to see if it would help) understamding the programming of a new one is nescesary, But at what cost?
If anyone outhere has gone through this?? Thnx for your help!
PS, ive seen the tool to test the unit, any suggestions or Hacks to test resistance of the solenoids?
