Which pulley tensioners to replace when installing supercharger?
Looking at diagrams of the belts, it's a little confusing with everything going on. Can anyone offer some insight into which exact belt tensioners are recommended to be replaced when installing a supercharger? Has anyone had any belt slip issues if you installed without replacing the tensioners?
Thanks in advance. |

Replace tensioner pulley near the alternator. I lost 2 belts due to belt slip going WOT. It even knocked the PS belt off which ended up wrapped around the fan after it was chewed up.

As stated above, replace the tensioner on the driver side. You could replace the passenger side one as well since you will be in there, as well as the idler pulley.
I purchased my car already supercharged by the PO, and it had belt slip. I ended up downsizing the belt, changing all the tensioners and idler pulley, and the car has been great since
