Still getting codes after Throttle Actuator Replacement?

Hello! I just did my throttle actuators after the car went into limp mode and threw the usual codes. After I finished I checked for codes and all was clear. Let the car idle for a few minutes then took it for a drive. As soon as I started to get on the highway I got limp mode again. I got off at the first exit, pulled up BPM Flash on my laptop, and saw Throttle valve actuator control monitor bank 2 2B16. This is a bit odd because if I recall the original code that sent me into limp mode pre-replacement was a bank 1 code.

Shutting the car off clears the code, but it comes back after about a minute each time, seemingly under acceleration. In the minute prior to the limp mode coming back it will rev freely. I am wondering if I need to let it rest more, drive it more, or try a different way for clearing the codes.

I installed with unused BMW OEM parts manufactured in 2021.

Update, now only for entertainment purposes so you might laugh at my beginner incompetence. My local BMW dealer accidentally sold me throttle actuators with different length connecting rods. I installed them both without realizing it and of course that messed up the geometry on one of the banks and the throttles couldn't open all the way. Swapped out for the correct length rod (thankfully I kept the old ones) and away we go. All good now.

Cheers!

How did you figure it out/realize it?

Didn't know there were differences in TA's, but glad you figured it out and now it may help someone in the future facing the same issue.

I opened everything up and tried to open the throttles manually. One side would open normally but on bank 2 (the side that was throwing the code) I could only open the throttles 1/8th of an inch. I remembered when I installed it was much harder to get the rod to pop on the bank 2 side, but never checked to see that the rods were the same. Replaced with the correct rod and everything worked great.
