Did i mess up my tune install?
So i just installed my alpine tune and forgot to turn the ignition on before i started the install. I let it finish and it said it was installed successfully but i wasnt sure so i tried to install the stock file and start over only to realize for some reason the folder was empty and yes i did the stock save before the install. Anyway, i turned on the ignition and reinstalled the tune. I am just unsure if it actually is installed. Does it overwrite if you do it multiple times or would i need to figure out the factory install and try again?

I'd contact Alex at Alpine and ask for the Flash First file, then install the Flash First file and reinstall the Alpine Tune.
There are other ways to tell if the Alpine Tune is on your car, such as the rev warning indicator (yellow semi-circular indicator) on the tach which starts around 4,500 rpm when the car is cold, if you opted for that feature. Even in manual mode, the car will auto-shift if it gets close to the indicator. |

I think you just cleared it up for me. I was opening the wrong file when i tried to install the factory settings. So i will use that one and reinstall. Thanks!
