Akra slip on w/ X pipe?
I’m about to pull the trigger on an Akra slip on, but I’m not 100% set in the sound, it’s a bit too tame for me. I think I’m in search of the “loudest” Akra setup possible
Does anyone run it with different X pipes and/or headers? Currently I’m just running test pipes, but would be open to switch to something else! |

The akrapovic while it looks great is known to be very quiet. Although unavailable and nearly impossible to find used look at videos of the Akra GT4 system. Basically full catless and unresonated and it’s still not very loud.

akra rear section with sub2speed house fwd xpipe This is what I currently have on the car, it’s definitely louder than the full akra evo setup. Let me know if you would be interested it’s currently off the car and would entertain selling. It’s a fwd xpipe made of titanium no resonators or cats. Only reason I’m selling is cause I want a different sound from the akra maybe a little deeper and maybe a little quieter than what I have now. |

If so, yes I have this. But I don’t have an Akra.

Found one without other noise. Honestly it’s pretty fucking loud. Too loud, and requires ear protection 24/7.

FWIW I've heard Akra with stock x-pipe. Honestly really like the sound but it is one of the quietest options besides stock. My friend swapped it for Dinan becuase it was too quiet, and tbh Dinan is my favorite setup I've heard in person. But I'm not a "loud as possible" guy at all.
