Spent a few hours at SEMA...not nearly enough. Captured a few BMWs that were interesting enough to share

Your first picture is proof positive that the G82 is just vastly better without the front end.

It's also more balanced, as a shape, than the G80.

Interestingly, I preferred the F80 to the F82 for the same reason.

I have warmed up to the G front end just a bit, but it's still just an incredible unbalance from the rear. Maybe one day someone will fix it properly.

The ute conversion was very cool. One of my favorites. I missed the Touring wagon
