Wheel adaptors, will this work?

I have some 18x9.5 enkei RPF1’s previously on my mustang that I’d possibly like to reuse on my e92 m3. The mustang bolt pattern was 5x114.3, and the tires have 275/45 Michelin pilot sport AS4’s. Would using a 5x120 to 5x114.3 adaptor work out?

No. Don’t do that. Tire sizes are not correct, and wheel adapters like that are not recommend or as safe as a proper wheel. Just sell those and buy a proper set designed for this car.

Had a hunch that’d be janky, thanks!

275/45-18 tire width and profile are incorrect and will not work on an e92 M3. The bolt pattern is incorrect and a wheel bolt pattern adapter likely won’t work either. What’s the wheel bore size? E9x M3 uses a 72.56” bore diameter.

I’ve already sold the wheels.

Wheel adaptors are fine, as long as they are of good quality (such as H&R).

Like when using spacers, you'll need to factor in what the effective offset of the wheel will be with the adaptor to make sure they fit well. And of course then use proper tire sizes, like 275/35R18.

I love the OEM comp wheels so I don’t feel a need to get any right now. I used the money to get a corsa exhaust though!

Nice. The comp wheels are a nice complex design.

I’m running 19” HRE R101LW.

Corsa’s a good choice. I went the full AA single mid and three-can axle back muffler.
