There was an article about an Alpina B7 in Bimmer Magazine 15 years ago and the writers succinct description of the B7 as the ultimate Q-Ship made me really appreciate Alpina as a small manufacturer.
The level of quality needed to transform from a BMW tuner to gaining manufacturer status by the German government in 1983 is astounding. Passion and excellence from cars to wine was how BB lived. A legend. Well done, sir. RIP |
